New Apple Watch Series 6 announced and new iPad Air (Gen 4) and iPad (Gen 8).

Apple just released (15th Sept) some updates to the Apple Watch and some of the iPad range. Normally around now we’d start to see a release for the iPhone, but this year they are delayed. Most likely coming in October. They also announced a new Fitness+ Service and have combined some services into the new AppleOne.

Lots of new features and upgrades to both products. You can see more information for each below -

As with any “new” upgrade or “,0” release, just be aware there can still be bugs and issues still not seen “in the real world” on every different phone or setup. So if you are upgrading as always do a backup first, or just wait until the .1 or .2 version comes out. Normally a few weeks to a month after it’s been out a bit more you then find it’s a bit more stable.

Be aware of “Fake webpages” advising you need to update.

So there is a bit of a rise on the number of webpages or fake links that will try to trick you into calling a number or clicking a link to “update” some piece of software.

I’ve written a page with a bit more info on it here
