Apple Event - release of quite a few new and updated products

As we neared the end of the month, it was good to see quite a few updates to products as well as the release of the new iMac 24” with a “step back” to the coloured iMac G3. The new iMac 24” which features the M1 chip comes in colours - with matching keyboard and mouse (and trackpad if required), also with TouchID on the keyboard.

The iPad Pro 11” and 12.9” also gained the same M1 chip in the Mac range as well, so some quite big changes there also.

We also saw an update to the AppleTV 4K with a new remote (which can also be purchased separately.

Just to keep the iPhone 12 going well they released a Purple colour to add to the range.

And a new (rumoured for quite a while) AirTag device, which you can track with your phone on devices you don’t want to lose!

For more information on everything you can see the following links.

There was also an upgrade to their Podcast App with a release of a new Podcast Subscription service.

Be aware of “Fake webpages” advising you need to update.

So there is a bit of a rise on the number of webpages or fake links that will try to trick you into calling a number or clicking a link to “update” some piece of software.

I’ve written a page with a bit more info on it here
